TW Retained to Design Premanufactured Plant
Tobolski Watkins has been selected to seismically design Systecon Inc.’s premanufactured “central plant in a box” system for use in a California hospital under current OSHPD special seismic certification requirements. This project consists of the seismic certification of the central plant system which consists of: cooling towers, chillers, pumps, variable frequency drives, motor control centers, control panel, piping and supports and structural support frames.
Our intimate knowledge of the development and proper application of code provisions make Tobolski Watkins an excellent choice for ensuring the success of this project. Our team has been involved in the development of ASCE 7 Chapter 13 which are the basis of OSHPD Code Application Notice (CAN) 2-1708A.5.
