Nigel Priestley, PhD
DIRECTOR – Dr. Priestley is a recognized expert in the field of Earthquake Engineering and has been a leader in the development of seismic design provisions throughout the world. His interests are the development of seismic design philosophies and provisions and the seismic design of concrete and masonry structures. He has an honorary doctorate from the Swiss Federal Institute (ETH) and the National University of Argentina. Dr. Priestley is an Emeritus Professor of Structural Engineering at the UC, San Diego and a Lecturer and Co-Director of the ROSE School in Pavia, Italy
